libpgtypes3 software package provides shared library libpgtypes for PostgreSQL 9.3, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpgtypes3
libpgtypes3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpgtypes3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpgtypes3 *
You will get with libpgtypes3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
